even more garlic. For the spice and garlic lovers – they provide complimentary red pepper seasoning and as much chopped garlic as your mouth can handle.

The differences

Ramen with Soft Boiled Egg comes with all of the above along with thick circumferenced artisan Ramen noodles (their specialty) in it already.

The Tsukemen is a dipping noodle and the broth is even heavier. Tsukemen noodles are provided in a separate bowl and the eater is to use chopsticks along with help of a spoon to transfer the noodles into the flavor-filled broth. Swirl it around and enjoy.


Don’t get confused with the other Tsujita located across the street or the newest Tsujita opening up a block north. They’re kinda VERY different. I DID NOT enjoy the regular Tsujita restaurant’s service nor the food!  This review is based around the block-shaped restaurant Tsujita Annex hidden behind green leafy landscaping along the wall.

Cash only. Expect a 45-60 minute wait. You order outside with a hostess about 20 minutes into your wait. Within 5 minutes of being seated, your meal shall arrive piping hot and steaming with magical aromas. Tsukemen is the dipping noodle. Ramen is in the broth already. Garlic fiends will be smiling, as will spice and flavor lovers. There’s a reason it was rated #1 Ramen in LA.
